Eastbury Cottage, Compton
Replacement reclaimed clay plain tile roof, chimney overhaul, rebuild and replacement gutters.
About the project
The roof on the main house and adjacent garage building was tired and failing with a disproportionate amount of delaminated tiles so a re-roof was deemed to be the most viable option where an overhaul would have left numerous tiles subject to failure in the imminent future.
We organised a survey, estimate, scaffolding and replacement roof, sourced reclaimed clay plain tiles as required, rebuilt one missing chimney and overhauled the others.
All lead work was replaced as required, as were any sections of plain tile hanging.
All cement work such as verges and ridge was redone to ensure its water tightness and structural integrity for years to come.
The end result as you can see if a brand new roof but in keeping with the building period charm and all covered by our full 5 year workmanship guarantee.
