We became interested in an old house last year which needed a lot of work. Tom attended our second viewing and told us to go for it. He was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. He filled us with confidence and we subsequently decided that we should indeed go for it. After buying the property we contacted Tom (ALCo Construction) with a view of undertaking extensive refurbishment works. Tom and his team managed the entire project from start to finish. They worked tirelessly, were very accommodating of the various additions we made along the way and were extremely polite and professional. The attention to detail was exemplary and Tom was extremely helpful throughout. We now have our dream home and are very happy to have put our trust in ALCo Construction. We’d highly recommend them.

I've worked with Alco Group a long time and they are by some way the best contractor in the area. Tom is knowledgable, interested and invested in his work and this creates confidence in his client's and inspires his whole team to deliver beyond expectations.

We recently used Alco for the first time for an extensive exterior renovation, including replacing all stucco, repair and matched replacement of period fascia boards, new drainage and gutters, repointing, roof works and external redecoration.

Throughout the renovation, we were consistently impressed by how smoothly Tom and Jon from Alco managed the entire scope of work. They skillfully coordinated a variety of tasks seamlessly, incorporating the installation of our replacement windows into the overall schedule.

The work was completed to a remarkably high standard, on schedule and within our agreed budget. Alco’s staff were not only highly skilled and experienced but also very friendly, making the entire process stress-free for us. Their professionalism and the quality of their workmanship truly stood out. We are extremely pleased with the results we will definitely continue to choose Alco again for our planned future projects.

I was pleased that ALCo's team thoroughly prepared the areas for exterior decorating producing an excellent result. Radek and his colleague arrived on time and worked as best they could in difficult weather conditions. I have no hesitation in recommending ALCo. I found their details on Surrey County Council's Buy with Confidence website of trusted traders.

We are very pleased with Alco. Tom and his team are highly professional. Although they are not the cheapest option, their quality of work is excellent. We did go over budget by 10% due to my choice of new items and an unexpected leak, which was not Alco's fault. Yesterday, Tom visited to go over the snag list and noticed issues that I had missed. We plan to hire Alco again to renovate our bathroom.

Tom and his team at ALco were great from start to finish. Tom provided a very detailed quote which in effect becomes a statement of works and is super helpful to keep track of progress, scope and costs. The craftsmanship was top notch and we are very happy with the final result. Very professional service and would use again if doing more works.

Alex went above and beyond the quoted work to find and repair an elusive leak in my conservatory. The price was very reasonable and I will use Alco again to do my soffits and gutters this coming autumn.

Thanks to Alex & his team for doing a great job with several projects on my property. Alex took time helping and sourcing the right tiles for a new oak frame garage roof with planning and also matching tiles to the existing roof. Most recently replaced all my facia soffits and gutters on the main house and I am really happy with all the work completed and I can highly recommend them.

As part of our renovation work, the ALCO team completely replaced our roof. Their advice on tiles and materials was vital, and working around some of the ‘features’ of the original roof work was impressive. We’re made up with the end result, cheers to Alec, Tom, and the gang.

I have used Alex from ALCo Roofing for nearly15 years and cannot rate him highly enough. Whether it’s a complete new tiled roof on an extension, a large felted flat roof on an office, moss clearing tiles or a bespoke thatch tiled roof on a garden bar he has always delivered exceptional craftsmanship and tip-top customer service.
Most recently I had a new cedar shingle roof put on a garden building. From the initial meeting to discuss the options and measure up to the finish of the job Alex & Jack were professional, punctual and a pleasure to deal with. The works were done within budget to a high standard. I would highly recommend ALCo Roofing.

Had a new flat roof, some valleys replaced, and some custom skylights fitted. Excellent match on old vs new tiles, very neat lead work.
