Minster Road, Godalming
Demolition of garage and side extension to form new bike store, workshop, utility and home office.
About the project
What we did
The clients needed more space and as is often the case the property’s garage was not serving it intended purpose and had become a bit of a dumping ground. Dan at Splash architecture designed a new side extension to house a study, utility and retain storage and a workshop for the customers bikes. We also designed and built some custom drum kit storage.
Building on the party wall line is never without its challenges but by engaging and agreeing everything with the neighbours in advance the build was seamlessly executed and relationships with Martin next door have never been better.
The end result it a much better use of space and turns what was one large dumping ground into 3 most useful of spaces all tied together with a neutral colour scheme and LVT flooring.
