The Old Vicarage, Churt

Structural alterations and extension to a beautiful period family home formerly the village vicarage in Churt.

About the project

The family wanted to get the most out of their ground floor kitchen and entertaining space so we set about reconfiguring the ground floor layout, installing numerous steels and opening things up and into the existing garage. This was then extended with a beautiful bespoke glazed oak frame.

Under-floor heating fitted throughout and the well we discovered in the new kitchen diner was made a feature of. New hardwood windows and door compliment the period feel of this extension and conversion and everything was salvaged where possible and kept in keeping with the existing pre 1800’s building.
